The Smoothie King logo; I suppose it's like a simplified blobby crown shape that's sort of melting and it's got three irregular rounded points at the top and each point has a floating blob above it, so it's almost like three people standing shoulder to shoulder.

I was sketching at my table toward the end of the day, and I noticed someone standing in front of me, and I looked up and it was Foley, watching me sketch! I blurted out, "Oh wow! My friend wanted your autograph!" (2/x)

I sort of met Mick Foley around 1999. I was publishing and selling crappy comics at the time and I'd gotten a table at the Pittsburgh comic con. He was doing a signing, but I was stuck at my table all day. My pal @calamityjon.bsky.social had half-jokingly said, "Get me Foley's autograph!" (1/x)

Ha, only two people all day told me that they recognized what I was, but of course other people may have gotten it and just not told me. My expectations were low so I didn't mind!

The coolest thing about being in the least-known parade in New Orleans happens in 3 parts. Folks are out in the Quarter on MG morning barely awake. 1. They hear something and look up. 2. Their faces suddenly say, "Oh, something's happening!" 3. They take in our costumes as we walk by and are elated.
