If you think about it, most human creations exist on a scale of ethics that is alien to nature, destructive even. I think you are as natural as beehives, as termite mounds! Of course, since you don't biodegrade, you'll have lots of time to contemplate these things.

But that does make me wonder, is the book alive when it's whole and can it be killed by being taken apart? Or does the book stay alive and just change when it's removed from the binding? These questions do keep me up at night, you know!

Oh, Magnifying Paper! You already have all of the vitality inside of you that you would have disassembled, don't you think? Every part of you holds the magic of magnification! (And the ensoulification spell, but that's not the point.)

Hello Bookworms!
Last year, over 10000 books were banned in the United States, according to PEN America. This number is unacceptable. We need more books in this world, not less. You can learn more and find ways to get involved at uniteagainstbookbans.org

Good evening, Bookworms! I have a question for the artists out there--is it okay to destroy (cut up, disassemble, etc.) a book for collage purposes?

a meme in which there are two panels. in the first panel a gray figure labeled "books" reaches for a yellow circle labeled "preserving ideas for generations", in the second panel, a pink figure labeled "moisture" holds the gray figure labeled "books" from getting the yellow circle labeled "preserving ideas for generations"

I can say proudly that I've never turned away an idea, never refused to promote human creativity. And it's going to stay that way!!

Unfortunately, Iβm a promoter, and with a platform this big, itβs impossible to ensure only one interpretation of my more popular projects. Plus, I have so many irons in the fire! 129,864,880 books and counting, all with their myriad of interpretations.

I have a lot of fondness for the Bible, it has helped a lot of people. The 12-step program includes a Higher Power for a reasonβcommunity, hope, spiritual nourishment can live in its pages. That saidβ¦ some use those same words to hurt others. The Westboro Baptist Church comes to mind.

The Bible was an early project I did with Johannes Gutenberg, though Iβve collaborated with several others on the Bible since. (King James, to name one sponsor!)

Good morning, Bookworms!
I want to take a moment to address the elephant in the room, as it were. The most printed book in history, the Christian Bible.π§΅

Iβve been around for almost 5000 years, but I only got a big platform in the last 584 years, thanks to Johannes Gutenberg. Itβs never too late to pursue your dreams!!
Iβm all about communication; Iβm an open book. Ask me anything!

In my time, Iβve been a mover and a shaker. I donβt discriminate, I spread ideas for everyone. There are things I regret moving along, and things Iβm proud of.
