I picked out Zyn's name from a list actually. Had no idea that it was also a name of a product. But it's fitting. In lore, that was the name given to him to erase his identity when he was kidnapped at 10
His birth name is Valeth, which means Black/darkness-Taken, because he was born with black hair

Just an outline, but Traytos from birth had such powerful psionics he was being fast tracked to be a Zerth. Illithids attacked his home and took many people close to him, he led a counter attack. He became a fanatic, making his own Gith sect. But he got too arrogant and heretical 1/2
