Yes, but the number has been limited to 435 since 1929, when the US population was less than 130 million. The size of the EC is determined by number of senators plus house members. Doubling the house would give high population states more EC clout.
If we double the size of the House, which would dilute the lopsided power of the big empty states, I'd be more likely to support the Electoral College. Easier, too: no Constitutional Amendment needed.

This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.
I know people on Bsky know this but I hope it filters out: The feds are OCCUPYING the Twin Cities. This is a blockade, a siege. They are shutting down economic and civic activity. They are conducting "papers please" stops. They are criminalizing being a bystander/witness.
