These tend to come across more with a bit of whimsy which is not how I would normally approach something but it’s the best way I can continue to find joy in the middle of the grind that is being a working artist!
I’ve been a bit in a vague place with the creativity of my personal work right now where I want to make things that feel more like vignettes, scenes or moments.
It could use some more contrast or color, but I think it could do well in a medieval witch themed coloring book. (Someone should hire me for that)

This is the whole image of the sneak peak from a few weeks back. I really don’t feel like this is finished and it’s imperfect but I can live with that.

We have all been made to believe that we rely on these big corps for everything. We don’t. We need to believe that we have discipline and that these monsters don’t own our wallets. We do. Shop smart, especially small when you can. :)

I plan on trying my best to “fight with my wallet” this year.
Looking out for who eliminates DEIs, who supports who, shopping small, shopping local. Getting rid of unethical buying habits. I encourage you all to do the same! ❤️
Yet their pride and black history month displays are very noticeable and showy right at the front of the store, near checkouts, every single year 🙄 curious to see if they continue with that scam
It would be difficult to let go after so many years, and I also see the benefit of staying to “fight back” if you will. But conflicted between staying and showing up in adversary and deleting so we can watch zuck dissipate into obscurity.
But I’m not deleting as of right now. What happens in the future? We’ll see. There are still things I care about keeping and staying connected with on there. But I also dream of a new internet landscape and letting the old gods of social media die.
As of now I am not deleting my Instagram. I’ve been displeased with insta for years and have seen all of this coming since the meta buy out. The last year or so I’ve been significantly less active on there because frankly I didn’t enjoy it anymore. (Cont. 👆🏻)
