Next thing he knew, he was laying face down in front of the throne that Thanos resided upon.

It seemed that the Titan had kept his word on keeping the losers alive.

Yi lowered his bow to his waist, examining the steamed surroundings for any sight of Mr Fantastic.

“Reed, come out now, We can stop the theatrics.”

The warrior shouted, halting his arrow fire as Reed became harder and harder to track.

“We’re both here for the same reason, to stop that bastard. You cowering in these tunnels only proves to me that you cannot defeat him.

Yi in the sewers trying to find Reed while there are only 3 days left of the round:

The Solarian’s declaration bounced around the sewers, there was no way Reed couldn’t hear him.

Swiftly reading his bow, Yi fired an explosive arrow torwards the support beam where he suspected Reed to be hiding.

Unfortunately, after the smoke cleared only stone rubble remained with no blue men in sight.

“Quit it with these games Reed. You’re only delaying the inevitable.”

Yi’s message echoed throughout the sewers, there was no doubt that Reed had heard him.

“This is your last warning, come out now and I will make your death painless.

I don’t want to put you through more pain than necessary.”

Yi negotiated with the stone walls, no response yet as he slowly walked.

Dropping down to the depths of this city, Mr Fantastic was nowhere to be seen. He must have hid somewhere past the smog that blocked line of sight withing the putrid tunnels.

“This doesn’t look like you accepting my challenge, it looks like you running away.”

The feline warrior was quick on pursuit as Reed retreated to the sewers. It was likely that he was planning a trap of sorts but there wasn’t anything Yi could have done from the surface to combat this strategy.

Even if he did, it’s likely the Titan would get bored and send him there anyway.

The Solarian declared, forming his lightbound katana that he directed torwards Mr Fantastic.

Suddenly, green tendrils spouted from the surviving part of him. Slowly reforming the segments of his body that the feline had lost.

First the torso, then the head, finally, his arm. Out of the blood pool that still remained, a gorey reminder of his mistakes, Yi arose to his two feet once more.

Dust dissipates as Yi laid upon his back, his body in two and his crimson blood oozing all over the concrete.

He was still as the stone he rested upon, it seemed that the fight was over…
