I’ve never looked for tobacco seeds. They’re really easy to find online.
I was really worried about access to genetics with the new laws taking effect in November, but seeds were not always legal and people found a way to get them.
Do you use it indoors? (I plant veggies outside in the summer.)

No. I am using an AC Infinity self watering base with a fabric pot. The wicks are on top of the base threaded through the holes provided. The fabric pot is on top of the wicks. She may have drunk out of the base yesterday because it was empty and she looked better.
Of course. She had three wicks and 1/2 a gallon when I left for 5 days.

Thank you!! I was surprised to see her looking so good! I didn’t water her extra from Tuesday night and she really looked like she needed it. I’m sick again. I really hope she’ll drink from the base from now on.

Strawberry Haze Auto: Day 50 of 85. Her base was dry this morning… 🤔 I refilled it with pHed water. I have no idea if she’s actually drinking the water or if it’s evaporating into the air. The bottom of her pot felt kinda damp. 🤷♀️

It does look similar to the markings on my plant. Mine kept getting worse. It also had a weird texture and some wild twisty leaves. Keep an eye out for twisting on the edges of the leaves. It can be genetic discoloration and not TMV.
It sounds like her root ball never needed to get bigger to seek out water.
I checked in on my plant this morning and she drank the base empty! I guess she needed a little more encouragement! 😃 I refilled the base and I’m hoping she’ll keep butt chugging! Who knows. 🤷♀️
Can’t do much about the light. It doesn’t dim and it’s as high up as it’ll go. She’ll get more water soon. I’m tempted to go back to the way I was watering before (saturating the whole medium until a couple of drops of run off) and trying to train younger plants to use the base.
Strawberry Haze Auto: Day 49 of 85. I’m back from vacation! My plant did not drink from the base even though she looked like she was super thirsty. She looks better today after being watered last night, but obviously needs more water.
