Had some spectacular luck on the same version of Fire Red recently. Lugia showed up at 1256 resets and Ho-Oh at 1532.

Kind of nice to get away from the five digit hunts! Lugia was also a birthday shiny, so that's pretty fun.

Ah I gotcha. So agbfirm is pretty cool, because the 3ds technically can run gba games natively. Definitely look into it, if you'd like! Really simple to set up.

When you say emulating, are you referring to actual emulation or natively through agbfirm? I noticed a big difference between the two. But I'll agree, them GBAs be looking nice lol
