I followed you over there and still here. I prefer not to be injected with engagement farming over there. Meta is insane now. I still have a locked down FB and IG, but it’s 80% ads.

Data science nerd. Hiking, photography and nature. Couple of fake hips, Canadian partner and a couple older daughters in a house on a hill. Also NO DMs.. Seriously, I hate them. Don’t.

17.02.2026 22:45 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I have 3. One that wishes me a happy birthday every year (I think it's his publicist since he was an author), another obvious family member posting memories and photos... Then there is the other one.
A guy I worked, took his life in a very disturbing way to his family, still is on FB and LinkedIn.
Ellison... FTG... The oligarchs need to stop trying to buy everything and people need to stop buying it. We have the power of choice. The choice of morals over money. Musk and Co may have all the money since they have no morals, I'll keep my morals and make enough to live happily, not excessive

So next question…. When they poke their ears out, is it taunting Tyson or is it to hear smack talk? It’s like the odd couple of boxing. Doesn’t Target need more grills to get people in the door? Seriously this would be a sad, pathetic match.

Even Y2K panic at least created jobs and we made websites for our dogs. But that bubble burst and we learned. Never got into crypto either. This bubble is bad. And I’m all here for it popping

Checking out “Exit 8” this evening.
Over a decade in NYC, didn’t listen to people then so captions aren’t an issue.
Sounds awesome though.

*either way. They are bullies and need to control you and everything because if it’s intelligent alone…. They will lose…
Notice Carl Sagan wasn’t a billionaire? Science you always strive to better for all, oligarchs only better themselves.
It’s easy, if it’s owned by a billionaire….
They didn’t get that wealth by being “nice” or “trustworthy”. They get there by being cruel and ruthless, bending your will to support them by any means. Could be lying like the media, or force like ICE, but righter way, they want their way so consider it
Alternate facts. Thanks to the “other Conway”…
16.02.2026 17:09 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Isn’t that just called “manners” or “polite”?
We used to be taught things like “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” or “Do onto others as you have them do onto you”.
Oh, “using your inside voice” seems to be gone.
Crying wolf is now just for fun and money on platforms.
Ultra wealthy men that think they have no consequences that apply for any act, which they push the limits for? Yes, likely many, many more. Not the ultra wealthy but possibly the far worse deeds of those that want to be in that club. The bodies likely buried there…. Area 51 is also in the desert.
16.02.2026 13:59 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I hate this”influencer/content creator” culture. TikTok and other platforms are based on “Engagement farming” and to make money now, it’s who can come up with the most outrageous lie for clicks. Or do actual research and journalism, but no, they learn from GOP that there’s no consequences for lies.
16.02.2026 13:54 — 👍 43 🔁 2 💬 0 📌 0So you’re saying money doesn’t equate to intelligence? All these “leaders of tech” seem to be just rich people that bought someone else’s platforms, saw too many villain movies and decided I want that next. From child rapist to drug pissing drones. Money can’t buy you friends, but makingAI ones…
16.02.2026 12:36 — 👍 7 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0I only say “important“ because the corporate empire of Best Buy, where I worked, drilled this and Barbie Girl, into our head hours a day, everyday, on loop, even during the holidays…. Important only because my brain has a Manchurian style link to it. I hate it but still tap to it…
15.02.2026 19:54 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Oh it’s fine, life decided I was due for a different path so as humans instinctively do, I adjusted. I tried going skiing with my oldest daughter a few years back. I made it down once and my lower body was gone. I also now have both fake hips and a left fibula removed (not replaced). It had a time.
15.02.2026 17:44 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0CO ski trip with my dad, 15yrs old, doing moguls on a double Blue. My ski caught snow, crossed and binding were tight so splintered the shin, tore ACL and ripped cartilage out. Carbon fiber brace afterwards but only got to 80% ability back so ended scholarships/training.
15.02.2026 17:25 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0That’s basically how it took out my knee when I did it at 16yrs old. That was skill and lots of luck. And amazing balance and mental control of not to panic. Losing control at those speeds, on moguls with jumps…. We called it fields of buried VW Bugs and they hurt just like them. Ended mine at 16
15.02.2026 17:15 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I put it into a Savings and also made extra principal mortgage payments, but I also have a ROTH IRA that I put into as well, with older 401k's from older jobs. It's nice to have it all in one place again though. Yes, we can go through hoops to get the same results, or hire more FTE. 😀
15.02.2026 14:20 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Because that will make money off the younger audience. I asked when I got my first hip replacement when they were going to advance tech in that. He said why? No money in a product that a vast majority will die within the product lifetime. Sadly for me that doesn’t apply and will require many.
15.02.2026 14:01 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The other issue now is like myself prior to recently, I was a contractor for about a decade and jumped from project to project based work in 6 month increments. Some I was at for years, others 6mos, but none had a 401k. So I had to just move money to a savings account. Now I’m FTE, I have it.
