I view it as a Pete’s prototype for Quadrophenia in a sense. Tommy was the blueprint - Quadro is the perfected version

Great album, don’t get me wrong. But doesn’t hold a candle to Quadro or Who’s Next

I love Tommy but I genuinely think that people who claim it’s the best Who album are either on good fucking drugs or they’re lying for attention

It is a toss up between Quadro and The Wall for me. Two immaculate albums. I can listen to them start to finish any day

I reckon having a debate over what the best rock opera concept album is over a cold pint in a proper depressing old fellas pub could cure me. Idk
