At this pace, DOJ will soon have a significant shortfall of criminal & civil attorneys, with no backfill. Charges won't be filed. Civil cases will receive half-hearted defenses, if any at all.

Things are so bad that the Minnesota prison system has had to launch a website specifically to combat DHS lies. The first major release from DOC officials suggests Gregory Bovino outright lied about the target of the Border Patrol operation during which agents shot and killed Alex Pretti.

This is stunning. Blanche is claiming, with a straight face, that the only federal prison where a convicted sex offender can adequately be protected from other inmates just so happens to be a minimum security prison that gives her puppy playdates.

Truly preposterous.

The BOP even maintains special prison facilities with high percentages of sex offenders in part to help protect them from threats from other inmates. This is not a new problem for BOP. Why wasn't she sent to one of these facilities instead???

So the DOD IG concluded that Hegseth:

✅ endangered our service members;
✅ knowingly shared info that had been classified on Signal;
✅ obstructed the investigation;
✅ violated multiple DOD regulations; and
✅ basically did what Hillary did but A LOT worse.

Total exoneration!

With apologies to the DOD IG, in the appendix he says he did think about looking into Hegseth's use of Signal for other matters, but when Hegseth refused to turn over his phone, the IG just said "okay cool, works for me."

Really unbelievable that an IG would take this stance.

Democrats should be focusing on (a) and (b).
