Do not let these thoughts of the past affect your present, because once they do, they begin to affect your future as well.

We all have something that snaps us back to that moment of pain and then harvest that negativity because the cure is unreachable.

However, there is one cure: acceptance. 4/6

You can be having the greatest day in the world, but then a past event will just randomly pop up in your head. For some, they sweep it under the rug and keep pushing; others aren’t as lucky to bounce back if they’re not able to recoil those thoughts in their head.

And it sucks. It really does. 3/6

With physical injuries, you get hit, break a bone, get a cut and the crazy stuff, doc says rest for X amount time, et cetera. Done. Straight cheese.

With emotional and mental injuries however, there is no doctor to tell you to rest for X amount of time because there is none.

Yeah we all know that, but I mean emotionally speaking, mentally speaking, it takes time.

Fun fact: You recover physical injuries faster than your emotional and mental injuries.
