Many people who support Ukraine hope that the Israeli attack on Iran will stop Iran from helping Russia, which they've been doing. I think there's a reason many anti-Israel people also repeat Russian propaganda about Ukraine.

Whether Israel's strike on Iran is legal depends completely on whether it's true that Iran was about to build a nuclear bomb. US policy has always been that it's acceptable to use conventional warfare to prevent a state from acquiring nukes.
