FYI: designated handicap parking spaces are not there for ableds to idle in or pick people up in or park in if you can't find another spot (even for a few minutes). It denies access to disabled people to those areas, and forces them to park elsewhere. It's ableist, full stop. #ableism

Liver tox results just in for both owls--a Barred and a GHO--found dead in our area late last month. Tests show extremely high rates of anticoagulant rodenticides (ARs), usually considered the standard lethal range. This means that 3 owls dead in just 1 week in our area of rat poison.
