Here is the rest of the second-to-last display in Les Arts Decoratifs' Paul Poiret: A Feast of Fashion. The two garments I didn't highlight were two 1922 dresses: the red and black one, named Saltimbanque, which refers to a street acrobat, and the black one, named Manege, which

strangely refers to a horse academy. Both feature incredible geometric embroidery with a hardwear work. #fashionhistory #OOTD

The cleverest designs are often those that look most effortless. This 1913 gown by Lucile and worn by Heather Firbank appears to be a twist of ivory silk caught in folds by a high sash of black velvet. Of course the reality is so much more complex #V&A #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

I’ve been having a hard time both physically and mentally lately so I redrew Dracula’s official portraits from Symphony of the Night in my own style as a means of art therapy (and as a means to remind myself how he’s actually supposed to be drawn.)

New stone witch : the Crysotile meaning "golden hair/thread", a beautiful but deadly mineral mostly known as "white asbestos"
I wanted to make her protective against fire at first view but be wary of her dagger !

I’ve not seen Princess Zelda look so…unsure of herself. Several of her ancestors are here, and yet… she seems so discouraged. She looks so much like them, too. The pressure she must feel to do a good job at ruling the Kingdom must be tenfold, now.
