Love Great Lakes lighthouses! This is the Old Michigan City lighthouse. Built in 1858 it served the City’s harbor until a new one was constructed in 1904. Harriet Colfax served as the keeper from 1861 to 1901. She never married but lived with her long time friend and partner.
