"If the White House was being struck, President Trump would be outside, on the South Lawn, yelling "Come and get me, assholes! He'd be resisting very strongly, just like a cadet straight out of central casting who was sent to military school by his parents."
And if it has, Trump will just send in the army to turn the big beautiful faucet to get it flowing again.
His fall is going to be swift and spectacular.
Not sure that either "fighter" or "planner" apply.
Perhaps a "war stan?"
The mainstreaming attempt could only work for so long.
If there's anyone you want making strategic plans for an "excursion," it's the Treasury Secretary.
Not really. He didn't give up a home run.
He didn't even sneak in a mention of Michigan Man of the Year award?
IS THERE NOTHING THIS MAN CAN'T DO?
He did what, now?
OOOH! OOOH! I HAVE A FOLLOWUP!!
What is that well-articulated mission, Senator?
Crazy how "we were attacked" generates more short-term popularity for a war than a "protestors nuclear Israel regime change preemptive gut feeling very strongly" rationale.
Ours usually weren't quite that bad (no music and crappy banquet chicken, for two things), but it was the same people giving the same people plaques for winning the same awards, year after year.
The national ones (when we were nominated and/or won) were a little better, but not by much.
If you discount the news shows, I've watched one show on that list. Two, if you count the real "The FBI, a Quinn Martin production."
When I was in the media, I always thought *our* awards dinners were somewhat embarrassing.
I hereby yield the floor to the "ticketing star" of the year.
Don't think it's gaslighting, any more than "insane asylums" is gaslighting. Once it's stuck in his brain, it's not able to escape or be replaced.
I was told it wasn't a war, it was an excursion - and I'm sitting here patiently with the picnic basket packed.
I've been proposing Guy Fieri. Still MAGA, but at least more genial.
Yeah, if you call that dancing.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Not even Barack Hussein Obama could have, I bet.
She controls his TV watching from wherever she is (obviously, not the White House)?
"And I've tried them all. Very strong and powerful."
Odd. Jim was on the wrong side of something?
Powerful hyperbole, with tears in its eyes.
<shrug> Why learn difficult language like (checking notes) "vulnerable," "father," and "advice" if you can just avoid it instead?
Well, we would have. Very strongly and very powerfully, like no one has ever seen before.
But...but...I heard on very good authority that if that happened, we wouldn't have a country anymore.
"If for any reason mines were placed"
Trying to figure out what the reason might be, but I'm coming up empty.
Hahahahahaha.
The Colombians must be heartbroken. They'll just sit on the couch eating Haaagen-Dasz instead.
