I feel like I’m living two lives simultaneously. One life everything is going on as normal. The other is constant dread and breaking news articles cataloging the fall of the country. Unrelated.. I found my expired passport today. I’m going to renew it expeditiously.

I’ve been MIA bc everything got to be too much. Mom came home Friday. I started a new job today. Now it’s back to my regularly scheduled stress. 🙃

Today was a good day. I got a new job, and my mother was allowed to start a clear liquid diet. She’s one step closer to coming home! Now if I could dismantle the patriarchy overnight life would be perfect.

Today has been the longest day of 2025. My mother was taken by ambulance to the hospital at 3:30am, ER Dr wanted to admit her which took 12 hrs due to waiting for a bed to open, & during all of this I had 2 interviews.. please pray for my mother (or whatever you believe in). Thank you all.

Y’all I’m so tired. Every single day is more breaking news and executive orders and threats and I am tired. I knew this was coming. But how does anyone prepare for this? And then I find out that other countries are fighting fascism as well but we aren’t being shown that info here in the states. 😔

I, too, disliked Twitter 😂 I had one for maybe a month? Deleted it and never looked back. As for my top 8? That’s a tough one. I’d like Tom to be my #1 spot. For old times sake 😂

Honestly I am enjoying not having it. I’ve stayed off meta as much as I can as well. I can’t 100% disconnect from them (yet). I like BlueSky a lot. I’ve also spent way more time reading instead of mindlessly scrolling so it’s a good thing I don’t have it!
