A book of theirs that has continued to puzzle me long after encountering it is Ingeborg Strobl's Photo Roman (2)
fotohof.at/shop/publika... the most unusual example of the photo comic genre.
Spread from Julius Deutschbauer's book of posters showing the artist sitting on a park bench in the snow and in front of a bookshelf. There may be some purpose to these activities indicated by the weilding of a tape measure, explained at further length in the review of this book in Source.
