Social media created this nonsense idea that not exposing yourself to hatred is isolationist. Choosing to not spend your free time with bigots isn’t living in a bubble. I don’t need to know what’s going on at X. I won’t be smarter or more knowledgeable or empathic by being there. Neither will you.

i offered to give the viera the free 1mil i got but they were being covered by staff members at a venue which was really kind of them

got a free 1mil gil from a person and found out later they're a well-known deathroll scammer (they don't pay out if they use, they log off and run with any gil) which is. yikes. im glad i didn't do any deathrolls but a poor viera lost like 3-4mil gil...
