This is so infuriating to me. When you have a child willing to go to summer school and catch up on credits lost due to their time in foster care, you should move mountains for that child. Summer school improves graduation rates! Why isn’t there money for this?

Free Support for Those Impacted by the Trump Hotel Explosion

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Resiliency & Justice Center provides trauma-informed assistance to all survivors of violent crime and their families. The center—which was initially formed to respond to the tragic shooting on October 1, 2017—now assists all survivors of violent crime and connects individuals to needed resources and assistance for healing. Services include: 

-Advocate assistance with connection to resources
-Mental health support groups and referrals
-Legal aid services for various issues arising from victimization, including U visas 
-Advice and assistance with Victims of Crime Compensation Program (VOCP) applications
-Behavioral health navigation
-Integrative services and online/in-person workshop

All services are free and confidential. Anyone impacted by the January 1 Trump Hotel explosion in Las Vegas is encouraged to reach out to the Resiliency & Justice Center for available resources.
