Around 5 years ago, a certain purple bear was made a reality, after being a concept for years Initially, he was meant to be more of an escape mechanism, as I was in a pretty dark place in life, so the guise of a sweet wholesome purple bear who was so lovable and kind felt like just what I needed But over time, Exo became more than just a fursona for me, seeing the love folks had for the bear made me wish I was just like that, that I was more like that lovable kind bear everyone loved Overtime, I got better, got out of whatever place I was in, and slowly, without realizing, Exo grew with me, no longer a fursona, and honestly, feels as integral to me as my own being, and I couldnt imagine my life without him in essence, this dumb purple bear helped me out when I needed it most, and now, 5 years later, I continue to absolutely cherish him To represent that, the younger Exo is meant to be younger me, finally seeing his hopes and dreams realized in older Exo (me from today) So, thank you, me, for always being there for me <3
