This is part of what I have been up to while waiting for SA Availability checks and bookings! Fun! 😍

Just before 2024 finished, someone spotted my work as an SA in the River City episode aired on the 30th.
It is fun watching the result after witnessing the scenes several times during filming!

Sending love out to every author who learned that their publisher’s marketing plan for their new book was to have an intern visit a remote woodland in winter, dig a hole in the frozen earth, and whisper their book’s title once, ‘neath the crescent moon.

Script writing started. Or, rather, the thoughts organising part.
This is being adapted from a novel, so trying to decide what scenes stay, which go, and what changes.

Current time ghost story + love story with Scottish history mixed through. Very dear, so excited to see where everything goes. ☺️

I find first scenes as challenging as they are exciting. It can be your only chance of grabbing some readers/viewers' attention.

These weren't even part of the beginning of the book but a flashback halfway through, but eventually thought they worked better at the beginning.

🤓 I spent a while trying for the title to read "Love" when turned upside down. I'm sure a typographer would have done a better job, but this is the best I could do.
"Gaol" is dated English for "prison" and also gaelic for "love". Both words relate to the main male character of the #book. 1/2
