I also did some animation keyframing for a couple of the characters' movesets. Really happy with the Black Panther keys- it's just fun to see my poses running around on screen (and he moves like a ninja)!

This is awesome. Did you code that dialog system yourself? I’ve been tinkering with Godot a bit after a little experience with Unity, but I’m not naturally ‘good’ at it. I just love learning and building stuff.

I definitely had a knee-jerk anger reaction when I posted that. Once I cooled off I realized there were other avenues I could explore that might still be enjoyable. I’ll go back and explore some more. Thanks for the thoughtful replies!

I know this cover is weird and off-putting, but it's also one of my favourites. To me, the swapping of Scott Free and Orion as babies is the core of the New Gods. It's biblical. It's Shakespearean. It's epic. Kirby was amazing.

Like, literally every time I turn it off, I feel much less happy than when I started. Imagine if you walked out of EVERY movie feeling worse than when you went in?
Anyway, that's my dumb rant over.

I think I'm done with Silksong. I want to love this game and explore its environments, but it's too deliberately infuriating. Hollow Knight was difficult but perfectly tuned and it made me WANT to get better at it. Silksong just makes me want to uninstall it. I leave every play session resentful.
