Headline from the New York Times U.S. Begins Flying Migrants to Guantánamo The decision to send migrants from the United States to Guantánamo Bay is a change in how the country handles people it deports.

Not the onion, not the pitch bot. This is actually how the NYT is reporting the beginning of concentration camps.

Can we withhold our tax dollars? Probably not without consequence. But we can stop spending money. Mutual aid, bartering, hand making goods, trading, gifting can do more than you think.

Maybe if we tell them there’s a student encampment inside the White House democrats will spring to action.

Here’s my Friday so far

Late lunch with the husband ar “Mi Pisco Peruano” - a hidden gem nestled between car dealerships and food trucks, this Peruvian-owned restaurant had the best food and the best service. And apparently live music Friday night.

I have long felt that when I have a typical Monday-Friday style schedule, Friday afternoons and evenings are to decompress at home, to be a hermit, and to engage in either solitary hedonism or parallel play with a quiet buddy.
