Pete is exactly right. Focus less on be shocked and outraged and more on finding positive ways to organize in your community to fight back.

I have read that book several times- we first read it in my Women & Folklore classes and I pick it up now and again.

Resistance starts with plain speaking. Fake news is propaganda. The powerful demanding apologies from artists is censorship. Business dealings while in office are corruption. Threatening protestors and petitioners is authoritarianism. Declaring a minority an internal enemy and calling for a militarized unity is Fascism. Everything starts with naming these things in public.

Rough week. Day three of a vicious migraine (weather related) and couldn’t get a break with work. I live my job, but the a$$hats need to calm the eff down.
Hopefully tomorrow will be less drama.

I agree- sometimes recharging by not doing all the things is fir more beneficial to us in the long run.
