At my local Home Depot today in Evanston, IL. They abducted 5 people in my immediate area.
For folks asking if they've made it *inside* a Home Depot yet as the business has clearly just continued letting agents do whatever they want in their lots, the answer is yes. This is from yesterday in Evanston.

They gave away the game when Trump gave Chevron their license to export from Venezuela in July. The Navy arrived & started murdering people in August.

It’s not about drugs; it’s about Venezuela’s oil. It’s always about oil. How stupid do they think we are?

Apparently I have raised my son in such a way that he’ll FaceTime me at nearly 11pm as he walks across his college campus just to show me his new eyebrow piercing. I’ll take my wins where and how I can get them these days.

‘I’m not a secret Nazi’: Maine Democratic Senate candidate addresses tattoo
Graham Platner says he didn’t know historical associations of skull-and-crossbones tattoo he got on his chest in 2007
Perhaps I’m over simplifying things, but if you’re running as a Democrat at a time when the Republicans are embracing Nazi ideology, and you claim you don’t know your Nazi tattoo is a Nazi tattoo, you should be disqualified:

I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.

Jeff Merkley (D-OR) all-nighter/filibuster watch! Also, Merkley is one of the two Senators left that hasn't voted yea for a Trump nominee or a fascist bill since Marco Rubio on day one.

I think this fundamentally misunderstands why we are where we are.
It’s more compelling to me that a 50 year conservative plan to weaken liberal institutions (unions, universities, state bureaucracies), upwardly transfer wealth, pack the courts, and increase private power is paying off as intended.

This is the scene at the Portland ICE facility right now where the Trump admin wants to send hundreds of National Guard troops to protect federal workers and property.

A wonderful family in our neighborhood will soon lose the home they've been renting for over a decade from REACH, a local housing non-profit that is selling all of their houses to a for-profit business. One home in the neighborhood has already been sold and flipped at market rate. More will follow.

A close friend and neighbor (who would like to remain anonymous) is in a vulnerable position of losing their rental home of 10+ years.
They have been given two options: buy the home they love or be evicted.
They are a super kind and community driven mixed race family, with a teen in an at-risk demographic, and moving would be life-altering for them.
They need community support to get their down payment, so please show up for this amazing family!

I take some pleasure in knowing that the ~50 conservative Oregonians who showed up at this event in Salem to celebrate the guy who paid for 80 busses of people to attend the January 6, 2021 rally...think that the ~10,000 people who attended the No Kings rally 200 yards away were all paid by Soros.

The very small group of them that I saw were quickly surrounded and contained without anyone laying a hand on them. As far as I saw they got shut down without the fight they were fishing for.

Cuando le preguntas a alguien en qué época de la Historia querría vivir y te dice Egipto, Roma, etc, esa persona cree que sería Faraón, Emperador, nunca esclavo.
Con el franquismo pasa igual.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride
