it's probably because a lot of my current stories have been in works for ages (literal years) and there's like this pressure I put on myself to do my characters justice but it's a vicious circle as then I just don't do anything lol

lrp I took it to the next level because I legit feel like I last posted proper stories publicly like forever ago, and since then it's all in my head and I'm just endlessly planning to put them out but I daydream about writing them more than actually write them

anything can be a slowburn if the writer is bad with updates

Cool fact: one time while assigning Taylor Swift eras to my characters I said Tobias was definitely Midnights (like just look at him) and then realised his birthday (Oct 21) is this album's release day so it's definitely fate.

(I need to catch up on all the context on this gen but I love the characters from what I've seen, I remember having a soft spot for Apollo since his intro haha)

I think actually that I need to add all the side characters for the fun value but the band will be the protags basically. But like, Zuri, Alyssa, Antonio and Paul will be hanging in the background, maybe Astrid as well (Pippa's love interest but she appears later on)

I might dig them up and maybe give a little glow up to their makeovers and add Ellie. Idk even if I don't share it I love playing with them and watching the dynamics, I have this AU story about them I've been writing for myself and it was super useful for some things about their development

It's interesting that technically Zuri isn't even on drums here. My current headcanon about her is that she's a fellow musician who has a solo project and she's the only other protege of Antonio and Alyssa aside from GC so they're all pretty close with her

Strangerville is lowkey my favourite world because I have an entire headcanon connecting it with Strangetown and I've played with the Curious brothers there before (I haven't finished that storyline either rip)

I started a globetrotter sorta thing with them last year which eventually had to reach Strangerville so idk I might reboot it because both of these saves were with the old drummers anyway

I randomly remembered how I had a Strangerville save with Galactic Crusade in like 2022 and they lived in such a cute trailer too and had cool makeovers? Oh I need to play with them there it will be fun

I really enjoy these more complex plots with hurdles and conflicting emotions, even if I liked their couple and kind of rooted for them. Like it's pretty realistic it would go this way if their goals didn't align. So it makes it really interesting to see how things will play out in the future! 👀

But yeah I guess now that I switched back to reshade I actually have a chance of fixing my screenshots quality because I'm not sure what happened but after one of the updates all my usual gshade effects just stopped working properly and the quality suffered

Holy shit I feel so out of the loop but apparently gshade which I've been using until recently is outdated and reshade is better and has more options and support but a few years ago it was actually the other way round for me? Reshade was kinda ass so I switched to gshade
