I’m a big proponent of “a wrestling show should stand and end with a match” -UNLESS you do something suuuuper earth shattering at the end

I didn’t think Bailey vs Fletcher was anywhere near as good as their last match but I’m willing to admit I’d already had a long day, and subsequently watched with two people sat on their hands for the show. Had to throw hands up on that one.
I can fully admit when I’m not in the mood for AEW being AEW on a day where I had a dogshit day.
Full Gear last year is an example: I’d a really long, shitty day, and to immediately go from 2 hour car ride to PPV: by the end both the length and the main REALLY made me pissed. Same like tonight:

Yeah off record when they cool off, they REALLY cool off, and while I’m generally pretty positive on these shows, the problems get a lot more obvious when your back’s not in it.
