Ever wondered if a certain buff will synergize with kinetic tremors or Explosive Payload? Every damage perk has a flag on whether it works with ALL explosive perks, including dragonfly, incandescent, hatchling, etc. Here's a handy reference!

Slight update to these charts, since rocket sidearms and vex were higher than I expected from the preview. I also added Lodestar, which is very competitive, alongside all its elemental synergy. Lodestar ADS is actually higher DPS than hip-fire, if you can hit your crits.

If it's too hard to find in the sheet, the TL;DR is that base mag gives you the most reserves.

News of rocket sidearms' death have been greatly exaggerated!

The TWID misquoted the changes, which were meant to keep the overall damage the same (against minors and elites). Also, the nerf against bosses/champs is smaller than they quoted too, only 20% vs. quoted 30%!

Happy Trials rework day everyone!

Here's a handy reference for how much your damage changes when you come up against guardians that are a different power level than you.

Remember, only overall power matters now, not your individual weapons.

Yeah, they have the same annoying thing as sidearms, though to a lesser extent, where firing them at max RPM permanently blocks your reticle with the recoil. Great on paper, but just annoying in practice.

From my napkin math of the footage, Lodestar fires baseline at 540 RPM, and does about 680 DPS, in line with exotic autos. The alt-mode at full auto would be about a 66% increase in DPS. So, pretty nice depending on the uptime of the alt-mode buff.

They still sort of care. HCs dominance is balanced by the fact they have steeper falloff than all other guns. flooring at 33% damage, instead of 50% like others. Apart from that, the AA zoom kind of balances itself, since it's harder to hit headshots with scouts close up.

The auto buff gives them a fun trade-off with pulses. Autos are slightly better against elites, while pulses favour minors.

Scouts still lag far behind all other archetypes on elites, which is fair since they have infinite range. It'd be nice if bows got their elite damage brought up a bit though.

I figured this was a good time to finally start migrating over, so what better way than an update to my
MINOR/ELITE DPS CHART FOR HERESY:
HCs and 2-burst pulses are still on top, but basically everything is viable now.
The SMG buffs didn't move the needle on their bad sustained DPS, and lol bows
