Joel, panicking: That's- hhh-! Sam, adding some pepper to the new sandwich while a roach on his shoulder looks at Joel curiously: Toxic paint. Joel: That's... hhh... different! Sam: Look, I'm not upset, just... pretend the green bits in there are pieces of the mean Fred or something. Joel, looking unsure: ... He then proceeds to shove the whole sandwich in his mouth, chewing messily with a GRAWM NAWM NAWM NAWM. Joel, completely covered in bits of messily-eaten sandwich, looking pleased (?) with himself: ...Oh. ...hhh... That wasn't so bad. Sam, having finished the sandwich and wiping his hands with a cloth, looking over at Joel with a kind smile that's got a touch of mischief in it: I knew you could do it. Sam is lying down on the couch, with the rat child asleep on his chest. He notices its stomach grumbling and goes to fix it something to eat.

While preparing some unidentifiable cut of chicken, he zones out for a moment, remembering the time Leigh fed the rat child her blood. He stops suddenly, staring at the knife in his hand.

He looks at his reflection in the blade for a moment before flipping it around and placing his thumb along the edge, cutting to a wince as the rat child suddenly looks up with concern.

Sam approaches the rat child and kneels down, offering it his bloody thumb. It excitedly lunges at him and clamps down with its second pair of jaws, painfully. After the initial shock, though, Sam smiles, cradling the creature in his arms as he lets it drink.

Remade Sam, skinned but covered in loose bandages, with two extra arms and four extra legs. His ribcage is pulled open, lungs, heart, and a bit of liver visible. Rat Child is nestled inside amidst the organs, peeking out quizzically. There are multiple pill bottles at Sam's feet as he grins lopsidedly, with unfocused and teary eyes (one slightly swirly), and the text "Immm. . . I'm fine. Don't hurt. Feelll great-" as he tries to slide out of bed, half-covered in a blanket, not really sure what to do with his limbs.
