Coronation Chicken - Hannah Kate

A hardback book on a light pine table. The cover art shows bed coverings with an exposed hand of an woman.
This week I was at the Manchester Museum for the launch of Unburied : The True Story of Hannah Beswick The Manchester Mummy, by @shewolfmanc.bsky.social. I waffled through a question where I said 'Modern Penny Dreadful Industry' ?! but received a long excellent reply. I'll enjoy reading the book.

The cover of Unburied: The True Story of Hannah Beswick, the Manchester Mummy by Hannah Priest, next to a quote from the Fortean Times reading: "In Unburied, Hannah Priest seeks to uncover the truth behind Beswick's story and in doing so contributes to histories of the body, museums, and death and dying... the reader is encouraged to ponder the human experiences of historical actors, the temporality of burial, and quite why stories like Beswick's continue to fascinate us in the modern day."
So amazing to see a review of my book about Hannah Beswick, the Manchester Mummy in the Fortean Times!
Apparently there are just 8 tickets left for tonight's launch event at the Manchester Museum. Do come along if you can!
