As far as film is concerned I am not predicting which film will win Best Film Oscar 2026. I have not seen every film yet.
Also I am trying to predict Foreign Language Oscar 2026. Here I truly face difficulties due to access to films.

What would the world look like if Trump’s calamitous persona did not exist?

I know that presently that’s nearly impossible but I believe in perhaps 20 years time we will find out. There are at least several PHDs in this. On top of it several books on how much damage Trump’s mental state has brought on US.

As I have been following Trump around Asia, Japan and South Korea collecting bribes along the way, a thought occurred to me. Governments of every country must have commissioned their leading psychiatrists to analyse Trump. It would be interesting to know what they have said to their governments.

Trump is bringing so much gold into the WH that soon WH will look like a high class bordello. Ballroom will enhance that kind of a style even further.

I have a question for you. Is it safe to give cats 🐈‍⬛ milk? I know that chocolate should not be given to dogs and cats. Milk shouldn’t be given to hedgehogs but about cats I am bit confused.

Difference between public and professional theatrical exhibition has been with us for a very long time. Nothing will change. Recently I listened to a well known Hollywood agent who predicted that cinemas will be with us for another 15 to 20 years, after that everything will be streamed.

Personally I don’t like the cinema. Not because of programming, because of the way it was built.

Joe and Jake are too cuddly to be scary. So they should adopt a calming effect to everybody who doesn’t like Halloween and associated fireworks in the evening.

I like to watch movies in my own screening room. I do go to the cinema as well, mainly during ran up to Oscars. At the end of the day no cinema can compete with your own home cinema, be it in convenience and programming.

Public experiences film differently to what industry professionals experience. Watching film at Samuel Goldwyn or Directors Guild theatres is far cry from watching a same film at AMC in Pittsburgh. I favour simultaneous release of films in theatres and on streaming. Give people a choice!

My experience of theatrical exhibition is different. From my point of view there is a big difference between professional theatrical experience and public theatrical experience. Public cinema experience is completely different to industry experience. The gap is really wide.

That is not my argument. In my essay I argue for simultaneous film release between cinemas and streamers.

In regard to Genesis Cinema. Sometime ago I have heard that it will close for redevelopment? Apparently it will be smaller and on top of it there will be tower block full of apartments.

I personally recommend it. You won’t be disappointed. Simply a great film.

Why is everybody comparing Trump with Hitler? Yes I understand that Hitler loved rallies and Trump loves them as well. Also base MAGA voters and ruling billionaires prefer Hitler.
