Well, you *could* reduce prices by 1% 1500 times, like Zeno might do. It approaches zero asymptotically (for Trump, ass-him-totally), but after 1500 reductions, it’s pretty much just zero.

I recently increased my monthly donation by 25%. I hope others do similarly.

As I said above, we have been taught that it was the truth of Christianity and the power of its message that enabled its spread. But it’s hard to know what would have happened without all the murder.

Does anybody else feel like those centuries of bloody religious conflict don’t get proper attention in history as it’s taught in the USA? [It could be that I wasn’t listening, but I think I would have cared about this.]

Yeah, I thought I was retired, too, for about a month. ;) So I’m still payin’. It’s part-time work, but messed up my careful planning bigly.

The 37% bracket is the marginal rate for only the income that is in that bracket, not the average rate for all a person’s income. So, that first $1.2 million is taxed at the lower bracket rates. The 37% rate would apply only to income greater than $1.2M.

I’m at about that percentage. That doesn’t include Social Security and Medicare contributions, but those won’t bring the total up anywhere near 50%.

At first glance I thought somebody had photoshopped big kissy lips on the side of his head. If you see it, you can’t unsee it.
Clearly he was losing his hair then, with that part nearly down to his ear. He hadn’t perfected his combover/around then.

I’m glad somebody else brought it up before I did. I had to see if it was growing that way, but he’s clearly combed it straight down. Combovers always look desperate to me.

There was a time years ago when my wife would have Fox News playing. It struck me how quickly everything they discussed pivoted to ridiculing Barack Obama. It was so transparent.
