We have a cat (adopted off the street) who would like to have a relationship with the dog, but the dog just ignores her or turns away.

Ironically with no contrast, so not very visible.

I actually joked that they would say this. “Still tryin’ to dig out of that hole Biden left us in.“ Short-term pain lingers on…

Or that we can check out but never leave?

And, BTW, she is not shy about asking for what she wants. She’s a street-smart survivor, but she loves interaction with hoomans.

Wow. Even the lighter colors over one eye. This one is the neighborhood cat that we inherited when we moved in. She was here before us. We keep her inside much more than the prior owners, but we let her out during the day. Everybody knows her; she’s named after the street.

Love that headline. Scientists *found a pill…*. Yeah, that’s how science works! “Oh, look! There on the floor! A pretty orange pill! Let’s try that one and see what it does!“ No, if they found anything, it was a compound. But likely, they developed the compound. Give them credit!

Reporters should go there and interview people about what they believe about trans people and whether they think there’s a trans “movement.” It would probably be hilarious, but not as stupid as the things Trump says about it.

Oh, wow, you started (a low-res version of) Victory at Sea in my head. I had an LP album of it many years ago. My mind is trying to piece it together.

B&N also has places to sit, inviting you to relax, read a bit, and stay a while.

The only time a friend came out to me, I immediately jumped up and hugged her. I felt honored to be so respected and trusted that she would just tell me, that she knew I’d be ok with it. I felt a more complete friend after that.

Sounds like he’s passing the buck here. “I trusted them!”

Yes, endure your “short-term pain” ‘cause glory days are right around the corner! Soon be close to zero!

Hmm, lessee, is anybody surprised by attention to Cuba? He’ll try to set Rubio up to be in charge.

A fat cat who grew up on the street. Her coat has spots of orange that don’t show in the picture. It adds to her camo-cat street survival skills.

I don’t care much for that kind of counterfactual, but Trump did say it, just like he said the number of Covid cases would soon go down to zero. Which means that it doesn’t really ever matter what he says, and that’s why it’s never a big deal.

No “moving on.” As a specific reference to something we’re too often told we need to do, it belongs in quotes. But I fully agree. “Moving on” is how we circle back around.

This old ugly-faced dude is inundating us with ads promising to agree with Trump on everything. He’s got the money to go the distance, but I don’t know whether the time is right for an old ugly-talker. From where I sit, it’s hard to guess.

The only mechanism that can bring electricity prices down is a drop in fuel prices, mainly natural gas. But much of electricity cost is fixed cost.

Rate cases all have interventions like this, often with unrealistic claims. The commission will consider them. The final result is a negotiated settlement.

And too young to know how stupid he looks with that raised eyebrow.
