Pokémon Gold is one of my most enjoyable gaming experiences ever. I distinctly remember booting it up. It was a huge gamble to basically reboot the series which is now a staple. It introduced features integral to future games. The story & lore was so fresh. Revisiting Kanto? Battling Red? Perfection
