Because of low staffing over the holidays, my son's MRI for a broken foot was moved to 1/2. Which means that our deductible re-started and instead of the zero dollars we would have paid if he'd been seen 48 hours before, we owe $1400. 😭 in American, our healthcare is truly Kafkaesque.
I swear, some people would see a child break into a candy store and think his goal is to come out of there with less candy.
