Yes !! Apparently there are a lot of humans things (like architecture) that was inspired by the elves. So, yeah, this makes sense for the crowns too !
People have forgotten the origin of the designs. I like this idea so much !!

BUT it make me think about FLEMETH'S CROWN a lot !
Flemeth and Mythal are together in the body of Flemeth, and Mythal is the queen/mother of Evanuris. So, maybe her crown is similar to Elgarn'nan (her husband) for that reason ???
