Rob Leathern and Rob Goldman, who both worked at Meta, are launching a new nonprofit that aims to bring transparency to an increasingly opaque, scam-filled social media ecosystem. www.wired.com/story/scam-a...

That's such a waste. The selection committee could encourage better scheduling if it weighed a challenging noncon vs. an easy noncon schedule and rewarded teams as such.
Woodward himself will be owed a buyout of more than $6 million, per the terms of his latest contract, unless the sides agree to a settlement. That $6-plus million would be paid out into 2029 and subject to offset from the salary at Woodward's next job. He is required to attempt to find another athletic director job or a similar position to mitigate that buyout. It's the same buyout format Kelly had in his coaching contract.
Lmao the AD responsible for the $70 million Jimbo Fisher buyout and the $50 million Brian Kelly buyout is gonna get his own $6 million buyout

College sports admins prefer the sport's economic situation right now to be chalked up to "the system" but if you're serious about it, you have to sometimes name individual actors in this space, and here is one: SCOTT WOODWARD
