When we rebuild our public media up from the ashes it will need to be much bigger, bolder, and better funded -- not so dependent on private capital and corporate sponsorships, but truly public. It will need to be more democratic, more independent, and capable of withstanding two-bit fascist regimes.

Since everyone knows commitments mean nothing to Donald Trump, our trading partners all just say, "sure, we'll give you $20 trillion in invest however you want" and Donald Trump then goes out and boasts about it. It would make for a good comedy if the implications for the economy were not so large

Trump Is So Angry With Putin He Delayed Sanctions For 50 Days
But Its Not All Bad News
Just posted on the Trump announcement. A real mixed bag and hardly the awesome package for Ukraine that had been promised. Trump gives Putin sanctions protection for 50 days and promises Ukraine defensive weapons. Itβs saying to Putin, keep doing what you're doing. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

This is a screen capture of a Washington Post article titled ICE declares millions of undocumented immigrants ineligible for bond hearings.
Itβs obvious that the DJT administration wants to ensure that CoreCivic and Geo Group keep raking in our taxpayer money. The plan is to keep innocent undocumented immigrants incarcerated without due process as long as possible.

Bon Voyage Bongino?
When the FBI goes to war with the Attorney General, itβs usually polite and behind the scenes, unless it isnβt.
Trumpβs DOJ and FBI are just like all of his departments, made up of corrupt, amateurs cosplaying at their jobs. By the time all is said and done Americaβs government will be in tatters!
