I m not saying that violant death of Ali Khamenei will undo Islamic revolution tomorrow. But this war will end. And Persia will be different as it had been decades untill now. And The World will be. And relations between Christians and Muslims will.

Knowing Russian history means a better understanding of Russian performance. A better understanding of an enemy's performance (Russia has claimed for years that it is at war with the West) means a significant decrease in its effectiveness.

Soviet Russia was not recognized de jure by Western powers. Recognition of Soviet Union began only on 1924 and it was accepted into League of Nations in 1934. (12 years after Baltic States). Before that millions of people there survived only thanks to Western aid #RussianHistory
Latvia together with Estonia and Lithuania became members of League of Nations on September 22, 1921. In total there now were 54 countries.
