Every single President since the 1980’s would have been told by knowledgeable generals to avoid a war with Iran at all costs.
That Iran had been preparing for asymmetric warfare for decades.
That starting a war with Iran would be too costly economically and militarily.

This man exemplifies the film and arts scene in Northern California, particularly places that are dear to me, Oakland and Sac. There’s a sense of community and commitment to each other as artists and people that can get buried in establishment monied places like LA, NY, and SF.

Time and time again national analysts only consider the actions of large organizations with $$. Millions of Americans get their info from local news, which is under enormous financial strain. This must be taken into account in any analysis.

I don’t think taking the tact that Carr’s threats are all bluster and FCC regulated outlets will ignore them is looking at the full landscape. How many local news outlets with dwindling budgets and no $$ for lawyers are pulling away from nationally packaged stories because of this statement?

I understand the sentiment. But if this is the main communications push from Obama when millions are planning to protest against what’s happening, I feel somewhat abandoned by the former president. By all appearances, SNL takes the world affairs more seriously than the former president.

If this turns out to be some light funny thing put out by the official foundation when the world is crumbling right now … I will scream.
