I had this idea before I had either the cape skill to do it or the asm knowledge to make it myself. Now I have both and it is really cool to finally be making a level that has existed in my head for way too long.

I just can't stay away from Lunar Magic lately. Sigh. I guess I am making a vanilla cape hack...

After beating Mod Cape before Silksong, I accepted a new mission to try and beat Volpey's Senpai before Silksong, and I just barely finished in time. What a romhack, loved it.

My goal was to beat this before Silksong released, and I got it. Level is mod cape by @tjb0607.bsky.social and its very cool. Cape is good.

This got disappeared in a deleted comment chain on the flips RHR level post, but I stand by this sentiment so I figured I would salvage the reply with a quote. (kinda not ideal that it deletes all child comments of a deleted comment)

I have a deep respect for how RHR just kinda lets creators go nuts, and some weeks are just a difficulty tier above what you'd expect the limit should be in some other similar event. I think it adds a nice spice to the variety, and let's many different kinds of creators express themselves.

Another tiny peek at my yoshi fly hack! Designing this has been nonstop fun every time I open Lunar Magic, and I can already feel my skill improving too.

ty, I started this to up my own skill set, still need to get better at shells/midairs at some point too. There's just so much in SMW to learn and improve at, its overwhelming, but at the same time liberating that you can always pick a direction to focus for as long as its fun.

Got a little side project going in Lunar Magic, and I gotta say, I think I am cooking with this one. The premise of every level is the same, yoshi fly and eat 5 golden berries to hatch an orb at the finish line.

You could do this to make the remote man eat a powerup like a feather, then use the yoshified platform in conjunction with other platforms to provide a runway for pspeed.
