Today I’ve decided to announce my intention to run for Co-chair of Canada’s Young New Democrats at our upcoming convention.
Young people have always been a core part of the NDP movement, but in recent years the party has lost their support and trust. We must win them back.
In solidarity
Thank you
Merci
Excited to be moderating the West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country NDP All Candidates Leadership Forum. This AGM is an opportunity to reinvigorate our movement.

Endorsement Alert! 🚨
I’ve had the privilege of working with the wonderful @libbydavies.bsky.social , and couldn’t be prouder to have her endorsement. At the BC NDP convention we have the chance to say “Enough is enough”. Let’s fight for a future where everyone can not just survive, but thrive!
It was so great to have you over Charlie. Keep up the good fight ✊
What a fantastic evening!
The NDP has always been a party powered by and fighting for youth. We must empower young people to win them back, and we must win them back for a better future. As a former federal and provincial candidate, I am ready to be that voice in our party. That’s why I intend to seek the BC NDP presidency.
Canada's true crisis is the everyday emergency of just trying to get by in an impossible economy.
I’m running for NDP leader so we can transform a system rigged for the rich—together.
We need a government that serves the many, not the money.

That was the nail in the coffin yes. But for years leading up to this election there were systemic failures that would’ve resulted in us doing poorly no matter what. (Frankly the 2019 and 2021 results were pretty terrible too). The fear based “strategic” voting just amplified it 10x.
“Even in the face of devastating results for our party, the atmosphere remained oddly upbeat.”
Jäger Rosenberg attended the election-night gathering in Burnaby with high hopes but a heavy heart. The youngest candidate in #CdnElxn2025 writes for The Tyee:

Saying Mondays results were disappointing would be an understatement. But I am extremely proud of what we achieved in impossible circumstances. I send my heartfelt gratitude to the 2624 of you who trusted me with your vote. A better future is possible, but we must work to make it a reality.
The NDP platform is out and early voting is open! Remember to vote your values, not out of fear. You can vote early until 9 pm on Monday April 21st. Or vote on election day from 7 am to 7 pm. But make a plan so you can have your voice heard!
