This is a SHO image rendered with the Hubble palette used by the team at NASA, where Sulfur is red, Hydrogen is yellow and Oxygen is blue. Equipment: Telescope: SVBony SV503 80ed Camera: ZWO ASI533 mc pro Mount: ZWO AM5 Controller: Mini PC running NINA ASKAR duo band Ha/Oiii, Sii/Oiii filter set. Total Exposure: 8 hours

To celebrate Hubble's 31st anniversary, astronomers observed AG Carinae, a massive luminous blue variable star. It is 70 times the Sun's mass and surrounded by a 5 L-Y nebula. This star struggles between gravity and radiation, occasionally ejecting material to avoid self-destruction. #Astronomy

The dominant color of this bright reflection nebula is blue, characteristic of dust grains reflecting starlight.This blue portion of the Iris Nebula is about six light-years across. Within the Iris, dusty nebular material surrounds SAO 19158, a hot, young magnitude 7 star.

Here's NGC 7023, the Iris Nebula, a stupendous and bright reflection nebula lying in Cepheus, 1,300 ly away.

The bright blue portion is 6 ly across.

This is NGC-5128, a galaxy located some 13 million light years away. This is the closest radio galaxy that we know of, and one of the brightest galaxy in our night sky!
