You cannot put the wind in a bag: How we learned to see nature The award-winning nature writer, Robert Macfarlane, talks with Big Think about how to reacquaint ourselves with the rivers in our lives.

"Our language reflects our mindset, and our language increasingly treats nature as an object β€” inanimate, impersonal, and ready to exploit." @robgmacfarlane.bsky.social @philosophyminis.bsky.social

Choose your temple: How mythology can help you spend the time you have left Nobody lives life as a single, unaltered personality. Rather, our personalities change, grow, and deepen with each day.

I interviewed one of my literary and philosophical idols last week: Dr. Martin Shaw.

It was great. He was great. You always should meet your idols.
