Future Plans at Bristol Airport | The Future of Bristol Airport
We're planning for the future to ensure we meet the demand for air travel to and from the region we serve.
Please tell that to Bristol Airport, who are not satisfied with not yet filling their existing capacity by 2 million passengers, they are consulting on asking for another 3 million. It's madness. And they aren't even doing heatpumps and led lights till 2027

Net Zero targets will force people to change their lives, says Labour chair of energy committee
Bill Esterson says people will βabsolutelyβ be required to make adjustments as part of the transition to clean energy
We really need to stop suggesting, either implicitly or explicitly, that we can decarbonise society without people making any changes. It's not only dishonest, but is sure to bake in further distrust in Gov when it turns out not to be true.

Keeping the global consumption within the planetary boundaries - Nature
An analysis of the environmental footprints of consumption finds that planetary boundary transgressions can be mitigated by following an effective mitigation pathway focused on the food and services s...
"We show that 31β67% and 51β91% of the planetary boundary breaching responsibility could be attributed to the global top 10% and top 20% of consumers, respectively."
Any economic agenda, even the "abundance" agenda, must deal with this scientific finding, no?
