I seem to struggle with it since my hysterectomy

This beautiful thing happening on rednote might completely disappear. The connections that are happening on a global scale are just incredible.

Just saw something sad about how someone came to the US from china and he knows what it’s like there and this exchange that seems so beautiful right now is short lived and that makes me sad.

Can you imagine being Chinese going about your lives and suddenly there’s a bunch of Americans in your space?

They’ve been really nice for the most part but I don’t think the same would be for the situation in reverse.

Loving putting on makeup and having coordinated outfits. It’s sad but because I’ve lost so many inches in my torso my chest REALLY sticks out. I don’t remember that being a thing but it’s been since cancer the last 5 years.

Up til almost midnight translating mandarin so I can be polite on rednote was not on my bingo card

I had my first herniated disc a few years ago at 40. And my chiropractor said that’s an injury that’s for old people not people my age. Just…wow…I can’t even.

If I wasn’t on a watchlist before I definitely am now for going on rednote and trying to learn mandarin. I’m sure that put me on some no-fly list or something. All because of my love of books, free speech, and the right to assemble.

My cousin lost everything in the fire too. Their gofundme is doing well. Luckily they had renters insurance.

I’m asking my favorite businesses, authors, and friends to join me here on Bluesky. So I know a few of them have joined at my request and I’m really grateful.

We want nothing to do with him. If he owns it then we’ll quit that too.

I’m truly sad for the state of things. We’re trying to boycott all things meta and going over to Rednote has been a HUGE culture shock. I’m not sure we were prepared for it.

I think the more horrifying implication of all of these companies getting rid of their DEI programs - even more so than the loss of these programs themselves - is, like. Those programs exist to insulate them from civil rights lawsuits. Which means they're not worried about those lawsuits anymore
