Sam Moy is doing the same at BBC6Music. I find myself listening to that station less and less these days.

I seem to be getting this feeling a lot these days. Organisations abandoning their loyal customers / listeners / etc. in order to attract youngsters. It’s like utility companies offering deals to new customers only, and conveniently forgetting who helped them to build their brand.

The V&A have a beautiful ladies silver silk padded evening jacket from the 1920s in their fashion collection. I sketched it many years ago, for an art school project. Nothing is really new these days. Everything is a remix.

I bought Mr Smartie a Classic Gin Tasting Tour, at Edinburgh Gin’s new distillery, as a birthday present last December. We finally went on said tour yesterday! It was great and we would highly recommend.

Spent a very happy morning, yesterday, being taught how to print my own t-shirts by a friend who owns a top-notch heat press.

Mr Smartie and I are looking forward to wearing these sample shirts over the festive period.

We always exchanged greetings with all dog walkers, when Brian had his small Parsons-Terrier – which wasn’t yappy at all I hasten to add. In fact we still do that, even minus a dog. But then again, we’re good gays 😉

I have taken the difficult decision not to accept orders from customers in the USA for the foreseeable future.

Royal Mail are pausing deliveries over confusion surrounding new import taxes from the end of August 2025.

I can only hope that this is resolved swiftly.

The most hysterical one I remember is North and South from the early noughties. Edinburgh was used to represent Manchester. But is so clearly Edinburgh, due to Arthurs Seat and castle etc appearing in the background of lingering panoramic shots.

Murrayfield is 2.6km from me, but sounds much closer.

It’s not difficult to do, and I’m sure it would be appreciated by residents and visitors alike.

Is it really too difficult for the @parliament.scot social media team to add Alt text to images that you attach to your posts?

I’m rather disappointed that you’re not making your information accessible for all.

I want the council to mark out a dedicated lane on all city pavements that are exclusively for LGBTQ+ locals. We walk everywhere at breakneck speed.

Sorry to read that your evening didn’t pan out as you had hoped. The last gig we went to, here in Edinburgh, was ruined for me by other ‘so-called’ fans who had clearly been partaking of refreshment all afternoon.
