I saw a lot of people (who admitted to never been homeless before when asked) doing the whole ‘home is where the heart is’ thing to explain their switch to ‘houseless’ and I just. Ugh. I’ve been homeless. I didn’t have a home. This wasn’t changed by kitsch greeting card phrase.
