Following the backfire of his disastrous smear campaign against the alien Superman and the departure of his secretary Eve Teschmacher and his muscle Angela Spica AKA the Engineer, LuthorCorp CEO Lex Luthor has resorted to hiring someone who can serve both functions. Enter: Mercy Graves Inspired by her original incarnation in Superman: The Animated Series, as well as her portrayal in Young Justice and Batman V Superman, this pitch for the character paints her as Luthor's everything girl: bodyguard, secretary, chauffeur, you name it. Do not be fooled by her appearance. Despite her outwardly demeanor, Mercy acts as a counter for both Superman - as a cyborg powered by a synthetic kryptonite core (not too dissimilar to John Corben AKA Metallo) - and his pal Jimmy Olsen - whose rizz she developed a specific resistance against. Mercy: "YOUR DAYS OF PELVIC SORCERY ARE NUMBERED JIMMY OLSEN!"

Had this idea in my head since I saw Superman a couple of weeks ago how Mercy Graves would work in the DCU. I thought it would be funny if she were a goober anime girl who just so happened to be a deadly cyborg equipped with anti-Superman (and anti-Jimmy) armaments 😂.
